Meet your host Fusina at her home and weather permitting, walk by the canals to a local, organic grocery store (her favorite neighborhood shop) where you will discover authentic Dutch food and brands and shop for ingredients for your cooking class. Return to Fusina's cozy kitchen to learn to cook and flip pannekoeken, a very typical Dutch meal. You can create savory pancakes from ham and cheese as well as sweet pancakes with a variety of ingredients and toppings like fresh apples from the market. Your hands-on pancake cooking class, during which you will learn to make a savory and sweet Dutch pancake from scratch will last about an hour and a half.
